Rosh Hashana (New Year)
The Jewish New Year is a High Holiday, one of the two holy days of special religious significance. It, too, is traditionally celebrated within the circle of the family, though like most other holidays you’ll find many Tel Avivians make the most of the fact that there’s no work the next day and go out and party.
