Rothschild is not big and wide enough to incorporate all of the city’s entertainment needs. After dark, when the TA single, chic and fashionable want to meet their peersl they go to the Rothschild night life district – Lillinblum Street. On Lillinblum, a small street parallel to Rothschild’s western part, there is a row of one quality bar after another. There are some after-hour spots in Rothschild, but the best selection is definitely in Lillinblum.
The Shesek (17 Lillinblum) is a music-oriented bar that officially lets in only people over 23. The resident DJs bring their own music on their laptops, and focus on the electronic variety. Abraksas (40 Lillinblum) has been popular for quite a few years, and has a loyal following that has stuck with it and continues to come to this dark Funk-playing bar. This crowd consists of people around the age of 30. Lima Lima (42 Lillinblum) is more of a dance bar, and it’s just as good as others here, minus the overpriced alcohol.
