Accommodation

Tel Aviv Hotels, Hostels, Lodging and Accommodation

As any popular tourist destination, there are countless hotels in Tel Aviv, ranging from budget backpacker hostels to boutique and luxury hotels. Generally speaking, for the most part, it’s rather hard to find good value for your money. More often than not you’ll run into average hotels charging top dollar, high end places charging prices that can bankrupt you even if you have secret bank accounts in the Cayman Islands, or on the other end of the spectrum – low end hotels without anything going for them except location that charge as if they’re boutique.

Although it’s not the city’s strongest point, most hotels tend to fill up quickly in peak season, so try to book ahead.

The biggest collection of Tel Aviv’s top end hotels is located on Ha’Yarkon and the esplanade, which means there are plenty of rooms with sea view. On Ben Yehuda and Allenby are clustered some budget options for backpackers. For boutique accommodation head to Neve Tsedek in Tel Aviv’s south.

There are a small number of hotels farther from the city center. You can book a room in a Jaffa hotel and get a better price, if you’re looking to get away from the buzz. There are also a few business hotels along the city’s major highways, such as on Ha’Shalom Junction.
