Nightlife

Tel Aviv Bars and Clubs

There’s no Middle Eastern city with a better nightlife than Tel Aviv, and there are few cities around the world that can rival its’ 24/7 party scene. If you were looking for a city that truly doesn’t sleep – you found it.

Tel Aviv doesn’t really start to party until midnight at the earliest, and a lot of spots heat up only a couple of hours later. Basically, every Tel Aviv weekday feels like the weekend and the weekend feels like it’s New Year’s Eve. What about New Year’s Eve? Well, it feels like the parties at the turn of millennium.

Everybody can find something fun to do when the stars go out. There’s a colorful and eventful gay and lesbian scene, and a clubber scene for hardcore partiers as well as the occasional ones. And, of course, there’s an abundant selection of bars almost everywhere in the city.

Some areas’ nightlife is more vibrant than others’. Most notably are the Old Port, Florentin, Lillinblim and Yad Harutzim. The Port is frequented by tourists and out-of-towners with money to burn in large bars and dance clubs. In Florentin you’ll find a cluster of neighborhood bars that open at 7PM and stay lively until the middle of the night. Yad Harutzim is suitable for those who thrive on electronic music and can go on for hours (after-party included). Lillinblum is the swanky yet stylish part of the city nightlife, with interesting and innovative bars and clubs.
